Periodic application of NSF-approved food-grade mineral oil helps maintain and protect polymer components (chamber and smashing block) used in food preparation equipment. Mineral oil can reduce surface drying, help minimize staining from acidic lemon juice, improve appearance, and assist with smoother operation of moving or sliding plastic parts. Using an NSF-approved food-grade mineral oil ensures the lubricant is appropriate for incidental food-contact environments and supports routine sanitation and maintenance practices.
